Feb. 22, 2021 鈥� When we last spoke to 成人直播 State alumna and 2020 graduate Jade Mursch, her internship had been paused due to COVID-19. After being on hold for a month, Mursch鈥檚 internship was ultimately cut short. After months of uncertainty, Mursch secured a new full-time role.

Feb. 18, 2021 鈥� When Prince Yengbe came to 成人直播 State University from his home country of Ghana in 2007, he wasn鈥檛 entirely sure what aerospace engineering was, but he knew he wanted to be part of it. Now, after earning a bachelor鈥檚 (2012) and a master鈥檚 degree (2015) in the subject, Yengbe is being honored with the Modern-Day Technology Leader Award by the 2021 Black Engineer of the Year Award (BEYA) STEM Conference.

Feb. 08, 2021鈥� During the fall 2019 semester, Sierra Brown traveled to five out-of-state interviews and received five internship offers, accepted an internship with Goldman Sachs, and has since been offered a full-time position with the firm.

Jan. 27, 2021鈥� A local TV station recently welcomed a 成人直播 State grad Kaisha Batman into its newsroom, and now 鈥� less than a year after her graduation 鈥� Shocker Nation can see her on air.

Nov. 11, 2021 -- Isaac Brown is 成人直播 State's interim men's basketball coach. Brown, 51, joined the coaching staff as an assistant coach in 2014. He has also coached at Arkansas, Arkansas State, Louisiana Tech and others.

Nov. 16, 2020 鈥� Zane Storlie has not only dedicated his time at 成人直播 State to learning everything he can about computer science, but he鈥檚 also been an advocate for computer science education for elementary and middle school students in the area. Zane created a three-unit curriculum to teach Scratch coding to more than 750 students in 成人直播 Public Schools, and the Derby school district asked him to present a teacher training course to its librarians.

November 16, 2020 - Kirsten Long, from Haven, came to 成人直播 State University to start her career in education. She credits her field experiences and helpful teachers with preparing her for teaching. Nov. 10, 2020 鈥� Incoming freshmen and transfer students have an opportunity to receive up to $20,000 as part of 成人直播 State University鈥檚 new Shocker Adelante Scholarship.

Rachit Rajput, from Shimla, India, came to 成人直播 State in 2015 on faith in the engineering program. He leaves with a master鈥檚 degree in industrial engineering. Oct. 28, 2020 -- There are several artists with 成人直播 State University connections involved in the public art projects in and around the Riverfront Stadium, home of the 成人直播 Wind Surge minor-league professional team. Several of the public art projects are visible outside the stadium and more are scheduled for installation in the coming months. All of the artists are local or regional.

Oct. 27, 2020 -- 成人直播 State University students Jessica Sharp, a junior accounting major, and Marissa Sanders, a senior human resources management major, are applying their education to hands-on experience in their internships at Allen, Gibbs & Houlik.
