Feb. 23, 2022 鈥 成人直播 State alumnus J. Robert Young has pledged a gift of $3 million to provide resources that will help students build successful careers. Of that total, $2 million will endow the J. Robert Young Executive-in-Residence Program in the W. Frank Barton School of Business. The remaining $1 million will support the Shocker Success Center project, which will consolidate 17 student services in Clinton Hall.

Feb. 22, 2022 - The Dean鈥檚 Advisory Board for the W. Frank Barton School of Business at 成人直播 State University is excited to announce Margaret Dechant as its new leader. Dechant, CEO and partner at 6 Meridian, will take over for Clark Bastian. Dechant currently serves as a member of the board and looks to bring her knowledge and passion for the Barton School and WSU to her appointment. Bastian chairman of Fidelity Bank, will remain on the board after his term as chair comes to an end in June.

Feb. 22, 2022 鈥 The 成人直播 Litter Study was borne from community concern about the number of single-use plastic bags floating throughout the city. The study focused on 12 small sites within 成人直播 municipal parks 鈥 two parks within each city council district; and the data, while concerning, was not altogether a surprise for the research team.

Feb. 4, 2022 鈥 Ella Tucker, senior at Epic Charter Schools in Tulsa, Oklahoma, has been awarded the 2022 成人直播 State University Clay Barton Scholarship. She will receive $12,500 a year for four years to attend 成人直播 State. The $50,000 Barton Scholarship is one of the largest business scholarships in Kansas.

Jan. 26, 2022 - GoCreate is using its equipment and expertise to build form work for the center concrete pier of the Promise Bridge. GoCreate staff and 成人直播 State students will machine 30 blocks of foam, each 4 feet by 3 feet by 8 feet, that will be used by Dondlinger Construction.

Jan. 20, 2022 鈥 The Alfred P. Sloan Foundation has awarded a grant of $243,922 to a 成人直播 State University researcher for his work on an app that will allow people who are visually impaired to read comic books, graphic novels and other digitized graphic materials on their devices.
