May 25, 2022 鈥 The Woolseys have made an additional gift from their trust of $1.3 million to Wayne and Kay Woolsey Hall at 成人直播 State University. A portion of the gift will be used to create the Kay Woolsey Garden, with the remainder going toward the Woolsey Hall Technology Fund.

National Institute for Research and Digitial Transformation

May 6, 2022 鈥 The steel columns and beams rising on the east edge of the Innovation Campus will soon provide a physical centerpiece for the ongoing work of digital transformation at 成人直播 State University. April 15, 2022 - MagicHand, an anthropomorphic robotic hand designed by a 成人直播 State University engineering team, is participating in the National Science Foundation Innovation Corps program. The MagicHand is designed to achieve various dexterous object manipulations including object sorting, arranging and packaging.

April 7, 2022 鈥 A team from 成人直播 State University鈥檚 National Institute for Aviation Research has received international recognition for a design that would allow WC19 certified manual and power wheelchairs to be used as a seat on board commercial airlines.

March 29, 2022 鈥 In the latest U.S. News and World Report rankings of universities offering a Ph.D. in engineering, the College of Engineering at 成人直播 State University once again was ranked in the top 100 engineering graduate programs in the country and the only institution in Kansas to make it in the top 100.

2022 Wallace Scholars

March 25, 2022 鈥斅牫扇酥辈 State University鈥檚 College of Engineering has named the latest group of high school seniors to join the Wallace Scholar program. Ten Wallace Scholarship recipients will receive $28,500 each to attend 成人直播 State for four years. In addition, two students receiving other major university scholarships will be designated as Wallace Scholars.

March 14, 2022鈥擳wo 成人直播 State researchers and a student group have been awarded the John A. See Innovation Award. The award is given each year as a way to recognize novel ideas that have the potential to meet a market need and attract further funding once they have advanced through the early prototyping phase.

March 10, 2022 鈥 成人直播 State University President Rick Muma has launched a new podcast, called 鈥淔orward Together,鈥 where the president speaks with guests from throughout Shocker Nation to highlight the people and priorities that guide WSU. The podcast drops monthly, with the March edition releasing March 9. Some of the guests so far include Hollywood director Dean Hargrove, WSU basketball coach Isaac Brown and WSU research vice president Coleen Pugh.

Frank Barton School of Business, recently ran an exploratory study about how people interact on Zoom.
