Aug. 5, 2021 - Aliphine Tuliamuk is 成人直播 State鈥檚 greatest female track and field athlete and the owner of 13 NCAA All-American honors in track and cross country. She is also an Olympian, a new mother (daughter Zoe was born Jan. 13) and an athlete willing to speak out on important issues. Recently, she is lending her voice and example to advocate for female athletes who compete as mothers.

May 13, 2021 - 成人直播 State鈥檚 bowling teams endured a lot to get to 2021. The COVID-19 pandemic ended their 2020 season with both teams ranked No. 1 nationally and riding in vans to their sectional qualifier in Fort Worth. On Saturday, they turned those trials and lessons of the past into a history-making day for college bowling鈥檚 most successful program. 成人直播 State won the men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 Intercollegiate Team Championship at Spectrum Entertainment Complex in Wyoming, Michigan.

April 23, 2021 - No. 23 成人直播 State is on a high, one that seems to equal or surpass that 2018 NCAA regional at Arkansas when it advanced to the championship against the host Razorbacks. The Shockers (32-6-1) are ranked in the four major softball polls for the first time, including their first appearance in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association poll at No. 25 last week and now at No. 23. 鈥淭hey鈥檙e pretty salty,鈥 said Janice Bowers, a season-ticket holder for the past three years and a former pitcher at Emporia State. 鈥淭hey鈥檝e got good teamwork and they love to play. I can relate to that.鈥

Dec. 10, 2020 - Hannah Wilkinson, 成人直播 State's associate head strength and conditioning coach, is taking donations for Catholic Charities Harbor House domestic violence shelter and service. The campaign is an extension of the toy drive that strength and conditioning coach Kerry Rosenboom organized in previous years.

Dec. 9, 2020 鈥 The WSU Foundation's seven-year Shock the World campaign raised more than $300 million to fund scholarships and campus improvements at 成人直播 State University.

Nov. 11, 2021 -- Isaac Brown is 成人直播 State's interim men's basketball coach. Brown, 51, joined the coaching staff as an assistant coach in 2014. He has also coached at Arkansas, Arkansas State, Louisiana Tech and others.

Ya-Aida Sillah, a health management major from 成人直播, took a lead role in 鈥淢ask Up!,鈥 a Department of Public Health Sciences group project designed to help students understand COVID-19 and health protection. Answers revealed four areas commonly misunderstood. 鈥 Some students did not know that fleece and gaiter-style masks are not recommended for preventing the spread of COVID-19. 鈥 Some students assumed a person鈥檚 vulnerability to COVID-19 would be visible. Sept. 30, 2020 - The annual ceremony of remembrance for those who died in the 1970 成人直播 State University plane crash will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2, at Cessna Stadium. There will be a reception immediately following the remembrance on the Cessna Stadium concourse. Enhancements have been made to Memorial 鈥70, located near the 18th Street and Hillside entrance to the university. Those additions to Memorial 鈥70 will be officially be revealed on Oct. 2.

Sept. 30, 2020 鈥 Over the years, many hikers have trekked to the crash site of the plane that claimed the lives of 31 souls 鈥 including 14 members of the 成人直播 State University football team, 14 staff and boosters, and three crew members.

Sept. 30, 2020 - 成人直播 State athletic trainer Tom Reeves was known as a man devoted to his athletes on the football team. His sense of humor and caring touch helped them through injuries and difficulties. On Oct. 2, 1970, he helped survivors escape the wreckage of the Martin 404 after it crashed in Colorado. Badly burned, Reeves got them away from the plane and down the mountain to help before he fell unconscious. Reeves died on Oct. 5 in a Denver hospital.

Sept. 28, 2020 - A new sculpture recognizes the survivors of the crash at Memorial '70 at 成人直播 State University. The names of teammates who landed safely in Utah that day are a fitting addition to the existing upright Memorial 鈥70 monument. 鈥淥ne of the main reasons we did what we did, was so the future generations would know that there were survivors,鈥 architect Randy Phillips said. 鈥淎nd how their lives were impacted, especially since they lived when so many didn鈥檛. Most, if not all, suffered greatly in silence.鈥 The desire to honor teammates by telling the story of the crash motivated Phillips, as it has driven so many connected to Oct. 2, 1970 near Silver Plume, Colo.
