After dabbling in construction work, being a mason and making stained glass artwork, he realized he was missing an education. For Eric, coming back to school at the age of 66 is the best thing he has done. Currently, he is getting his degree in philosophy and minors in English and psychology.听

Oct. 23, 2019 -- The American Association for Adult and Continuing Education (AAACE) recently presented 成人直播 State鈥檚 Susan Norton with the 2019 AAACE Presidential Award for Exceptional and Innovative Leadership in Adult Continuing Education, an award given to someone who demonstrates exceptional and innovative leadership in the field of adult continuing education.

Oct. 18, 2019 - Four 成人直播 State students are studying variable stars. One of their earliest tasks was to choose a variable star, from hundreds of possibilities, to study. The students follow the process that a scientist follows in constructing, analyzing, interpreting, writing and publishing their work. The project is designed to give the students 鈥渁n experience of the essence of the scientific endeavor while contributing to the actual scientific literature.鈥�

Oct. 1, 2019 - Jennifer Raymo, a 成人直播 State student earning her graduate degree in social work, recently became the 成人直播 Chapter director of The Healing Chair. The non-profit is a Kansas City based organization aimed at helping breast cancer and mastectomy survivors find comfort, hope and healing.

Sept. 25, 2019 - Agent Ink Apparel has partnered with 成人直播 State to become the official outfitter for WSU Varsity Esports. They recently delivered custom jerseys to the team and released the final design on social media.

Sept. 17, 2019 - Brian Hargrove leads Visit 成人直播's efforts to bring sports events to the city as executive director of sports development. Hargrove, a 1998 成人直播 State graduate, works with the university on events such as NCAA basketball and The Basketball Tournament.

Aug. 26, 2019 -- In an annual event that pits each of 成人直播 State's academic colleges against each other in friendly competitions, the College of Applied Studies won the 2019 Clash of the Colleges title, held Aug. 23.

In Rick Pappas' elementary school classroom, PE became a way to channel classroom lessons with physical activity. When he began teaching elementary PE at WSU in 2009, he taught his college students the same lesson.
