Dec. 6, 2019 -- Texas native Michaela Marioni moved to 成人直播 when her husband was stationed at McConnell Air Force Base in 2015, and she decided to enroll at WSU. Originally a veterinarian medicine major, Michaela discovered her talent for video editing in a class and pursued it with a passion to her graduation this month.

Team Under Pressure

Dec. 6, 2019 -- The fourth annual Koch Innovation Challenge, sponsored by Koch Industries and held at 成人直播 State, will take place from 9 a.m.-noon on Friday, Dec. 6, in 107 Devlin Hall. Teams compiled from the Introduction to Technology & Innovation Freshman seminar course compete for funding to pursue their big idea venture.

Dec. 5, 2019 --聽Andrew Martin has held many titles while attending 成人直播 State. He was the Director of Public Relations for SGA, served as a peer facilitator for the College of Health Professions and even has flown to new heights while getting his pilot's license. One thing for sure, Andrew's no average joe and wherever he lands, he'll soar.

Dec. 4, 2019 -- Javier Martinez and Jonathan Lozano hadn鈥檛 even intended to earn 成人直播 State鈥檚 inaugural Parkinson Scholarship in 2018, but they did. Both first-generation college students share their stories of adversity and triumph and offer words of encouragement for future first-gen college hopefuls.

Dec. 3, 2019 -- Madison Davis involved herself in multiple clubs and organizations while attending 成人直播 State. She took advantage of the different hands-on learning experiences and internships offered, which helped her grasp the concepts being taught. In January, she plans on attending graduate school and work as a Graduate Teaching Assistant.

Dec. 2, 2019 -- Gabrielle Owens surrounded herself with strong mentors she could look to when she doubted herself at 成人直播 State. She also took advantage of the opportunities offered through the Office of Diversity and Inclusion to successfully complete her master鈥檚 degree.

Sustainability, a 成人直播 State commitment

Nov. 21, 2019 -- 成人直播 State University is in the middle of a six part sustainability plan to develop and promote initiatives leading to a greater use of resources on campus. The initiatives revolve around facility improvements, new curriculum opportunities and overall student impact.The second goal of these efforts is to focus on reducing the carbon footprint on campus.

Nov. 8, 2019 -- College of Engineering Dean Dennis Livesay has constructed an elaborate, storied LEGO city in his basement over the last six years. Most of it is his own creation and has ties to his personal history.

Levi Lowe

Nov. 7, 2019 -聽 Levi Lowe, a senior majoring in applied computing and psychology is a first generation student who works 40 hours a week. Lowe works to pay for school on his own but was awarded a scholarship to help make ends meet.

Nov. 4, 2019 -- Austin Clift prepared himself as much as possible to teach high school journalism, but nothing could ready him for his first day teaching solo at 成人直播 East High School. As a part of his preparation, he shadowed his predecessor through 成人直播 State鈥檚 Transition to Teaching program.

Nov. 1, 2019 - President-elect Jay Golden鈥檚 introduction speech indicates he learned much about 成人直播 State鈥檚 history and its mission. He spoke of reducing cost for students, of applied learning, the importance of the humanities and critical thinking and ties with business.

Star Billingsley

Oct. 31, 2019 - Star Billingsley, a sophomore studying pre-law psychology, is the recipient of a scholarship that provides aid during the academic year. Star works as an RA, founded the Black Academic Honor Society on campus and works at the Career Development center. Star relies on financial aid and her income to pay for college.

Geeks Tutoring & Academic Success Center

Oct. 29, 2019 - It鈥檚 the living room of the engineering building in the Partnership 2 building on the Innovation Campus: GEEKS, a full-service tutoring lab for engineering students. The facility is a free resource that yields a significant amount of success for engineering students.

Callista Owens

Oct. 21, 2019 -Callista Owens, a junior majoring in violin performance and music education, received financial support from a generous donor which allowed her to continue her education at WSU.
