The course is actually called Applied Computing Intermediate Design Project, and this past spring its students carried out phishing attempts against a targeted group of 成人直播 State University faculty, staff and students.

Those experiences, however, helped prepare her for running the Esports program, as did her time working in sales for Apple after graduating from Northwestern University. 成人直播 State鈥檚 varsity program, housed in the Heskett Center, offers four teams competing in Overwatch, League of Legends, Rocket League, and Valorant.

June 7, 2021 鈥� Five-year-old Ford Hall has had to overcome more in his short life than most do in a lifetime. That鈥檚 because immediately after he was born, he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. The doctors informed his mother he would probably never be able to walk. 鈥淚t was that conversation with that doctor that really lit a fire in us,鈥� said Cori Hall, Ford鈥檚 mother.

May 6, 2020 - In a true testament to his love for 成人直播 State University, Rick Muma didn鈥檛 hesitate when he was asked to lead the university through a pandemic and an overall trying seven months as interim president. On May 6, the Kansas Board of Regents showed its appreciation and confidence in his leadership, giving Muma its nod of approval and making him the official 15th president of the university.

April 15 -- Competing in the 2019 Distinguished Scholarship Invitational and winning a Gore Scholarshiphs allowed Anna Tri to focus on her studies without worrying about the costs of college.

April 14, 2021 - 成人直播 State University鈥檚 College of Engineering has named the latest group of high school seniors to be awarded Wallace Scholarships worth $285,000. Wallace Scholarship recipients will receive $28,500 each to attend 成人直播 State for four years. In addition, one student already receiving the Gore Scholarship also will be designated as a Wallace Scholar.

April 14, 2021 鈥� 成人直播 State University鈥檚 Dr. Nick Solomey, professor of physics, has been awarded a $2 million grant from NASA for his work on developing a neutrino detector to work in space and close to the sun.聽

April 12, 2021 鈥� After months of hard work from 成人直播 State faculty members Carrie Dickison and Maria Sclafani, the Open Alternative Textbook committee approved English 102 for Open/Alternative Textbook (OAT) course designation. Starting in fall 2021, 成人直播 State students will no longer have to buy textbooks for English 102.

April 7, 2021 - In February, Novacoast announced plans to open a 24/7 security operations center in the Epic Center in downtown 成人直播. Novacoast, according to media reports, will hire around 60 employees immediately for positions such as sales, analysts and cybersecurity engineers.鈥淗aving a robust computer science department and applied computing department is a good source of interns and future employees to Novacoast,鈥� said Joe Jabara, director of 成人直播 State鈥檚 Hub for Cybersecurity Education and Awareness. 鈥淭he university鈥檚 emphasis on cybersecurity really helped lure them to 成人直播.鈥�

April 6, 2021 鈥� The 成人直播 State University Dorothy and Bill Cohen Honors College is proud to announce eight recipients of the Koch Scholars Program for the fall 2021 semester. These recipients each will be awarded $30,000 over four years.
