Dec. 17, 2020 鈥 成人直播 State University鈥檚 Community Engagement Institute鈥檚 coalition is working to better the lives of children by encouraging workplaces to establish family-friendly practices. WSU-CEI works closely with the Kansas Department of Health and Environment to establish multisector partnerships and resources for the execution of the Child Maltreatment Prevention Plan across Kansas. WSU-CEI also organizes a statewide coalition for this effort called Kansas Power of the Positive.

Dec. 10, 2020 - Hannah Wilkinson, 成人直播 State's associate head strength and conditioning coach, is taking donations for Catholic Charities Harbor House domestic violence shelter and service. The campaign is an extension of the toy drive that strength and conditioning coach Kerry Rosenboom organized in previous years.

Sigma Lambda Beta

Dec. 2, 2020 鈥 成人直播 State has been successful in minimizing the spread of COVID-19 because college students are following social distancing guidelines. 成人直播 State鈥檚 Rho Beta Chapter of Sigma Lambda Beta and the Zeta Beta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta have had no cases of COVID-19.

November 23, 2020 - Jay Price, a history professor at 成人直播 State, is honoring 成人直播 State鈥檚 birthday by creating a graphic novel of 成人直播 State's history.

Isaac Brown

Nov. 11, 2021 -- Isaac Brown is 成人直播 State's interim men's basketball coach. Brown, 51, joined the coaching staff as an assistant coach in 2014. He has also coached at Arkansas, Arkansas State, Louisiana Tech and others.

Kirsten Long

November 16, 2020 - Kirsten Long, from Haven, came to 成人直播 State University to start her career in education. She credits her field experiences and helpful teachers with preparing her for teaching. Adelante Scholarship

Nov. 10, 2020 鈥 Incoming freshmen and transfer students have an opportunity to receive up to $20,000 as part of 成人直播 State University鈥檚 new Shocker Adelante Scholarship.

Lily Guillen

Nov. 3, 2020 鈥 Lily Guillen, a graduate student in studio art, is one of thousands of first-generation students at 成人直播 State University. She will be taking over the university鈥檚 Instagram account on Wednesday, Nov. 4, to share her experiences as a first-gen student.

Rachit Rajput, from Shimla, India, came to 成人直播 State in 2015 on faith in the engineering program. He leaves with a master鈥檚 degree in industrial engineering. Oct. 29, 2020 - Campus construction continues and new partners continue to join 成人直播 State University. An update on progress around campus includes Woolsey Hall, new home to W. Frank Barton School of Business, Hyatt Place and The Smart Factory @ 成人直播.

WuShock Doc

Oct. 28, 2020 - Tyler Pennick, director of videography for 成人直播 State鈥檚 Office of Strategic Communications, created a documentary about WuShock in bronze. After two years of development, the documentary was accepted into the Tallgrass Film Festival and awarded for its success.

Mural at Riverfront Stadium

Oct. 28, 2020 -- There are several artists with 成人直播 State University connections involved in the public art projects in and around the Riverfront Stadium, home of the 成人直播 Wind Surge minor-league professional team. Several of the public art projects are visible outside the stadium and more are scheduled for installation in the coming months. All of the artists are local or regional.
