Team Dinner Choosers with their award

Dec. 9, 2019 --聽Five teams of 成人直播 State University students emerged as finalists in the Koch Innovation Challenge, held Dec. 6.

Dec. 6, 2019 -- The fourth annual Koch Innovation Challenge, sponsored by Koch Industries and held at 成人直播 State, will take place from 9 a.m.-noon on Friday, Dec. 6, in 107 Devlin Hall. Teams compiled from the Introduction to Technology & Innovation Freshman seminar course compete for funding to pursue their big idea venture.

Dec. 4, 2019 -- Javier Martinez and Jonathan Lozano hadn鈥檛 even intended to earn 成人直播 State鈥檚 inaugural Parkinson Scholarship in 2018, but they did. Both first-generation college students share their stories of adversity and triumph and offer words of encouragement for future first-gen college hopefuls.

Nov. 19, 2019 - Many students today must decide between continuing their education, potentially accruing debt to pay off for decades, or finding jobs that don鈥檛 require a college degree. To help with this, 成人直播 State set aside $1 million to establish the Sedgwick County Access Grant, a need-based financial award for incoming freshmen.

Nov. 14, 2019 -- Junior business management major Maribel Sanchez is taking full advantage of the opportunities provided by 成人直播 State. She is a first-generation student, Gore Scholar, studied abroad in the Netherlands this past summer and was invited to speak at a national conference.

Oct. 28, 2019 - Secretary of State Mike Pompeo met with business students on Friday to talk about leadership, integrity and service. He also met with 成人直播 State's men's basketball team at Charles Koch Arena.

Oct. 18, 2019 - Achita Muthitacharoen, professor of management information systems, recently won the 2019 Faculty Risk Taker award for her willingness to try new, innovative ideas. She holds a competition in her dynamic programming course that allows students to experience a real-world assignment.

July 8, 2019 - Eddie Sandoval graduated from 成人直播 State in 2017 with a business finance degree. While in school, he used the resources around him to launch a successful business called Pinole Blue.

May 31, 2019 -- 2010 WSU graduate, entrepreneur, and mother, Emilee Palomino is empowering girls all over the world through her brand, Smarty Girl.

May 7, 2019 -- Boosted Ideas Lab, a shot-art developer and confidence booster for developing basketball players, was the winner of the 2019 Shocker New Venture Competition at 成人直播 State University.

April 17, 2019 -- Felipe Lima de Oliveira wanted to help support his family back home in Brazil. Now, as only a freshman in college, the 成人直播 State engineering student is chasing that dream through his homegrown company, 成人直播 Brazilian Gourmet.

March 25, 2019 -- Tammy Dorsey graduated from 成人直播 State University with a biomedical engineering degree and is studying in the Master of Innovation Design program.

2019 Jabara scholars

March 19, 2019 -- Seniors from Bishop Carroll Catholic High School and Andover Central High School have been chosen for the Professor Fran Jabara Scholarship in Entrepreneurship at 成人直播 State University.

2019 Rudd Scholars

March 19, 2019 -- Fifteen Kansas high school seniors have been named as part of the newest class of Rudd Scholars, each receiving a 4-year scholarship to attend 成人直播 State University.
