WSU Project Presented at ASM

A paper describing the activities of our GK-12 project was accepted for presentation at the 108th Annual American Society for Microbiology general meeting in Boston.  The poster presentation detailed the development, implementation, and assessment of district-wide molecular biology classroom activities.  A section of the poster included data generated from student research projects.  All five GK-12 fellows were included as authors on a poster about WSU GK-12 program activities.  Fellow Ingrid Caton presented a poster on her research activities, including extensive rRNA clone libraries of bacteria and archaea from Great Salt Plains soils.
